Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the logistics representative on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, sharing information and working closely with supply chain, R&D, engineering, production, and other pertinent departments.
  • Manage engineering change requests by examining their impact on manufacturing processes and the bill of materials. Assess potential risks, supervise the engineering change schedule, and coordinate with teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
  • Carry out accurate and comprehensive material planning emphasizing customer demands, stock objectives, and manufacturing resources.
  • Manage MRP parameters, report for designated products, align customer orders with production scheduling, release shop orders, identify parts shortages, support the annual inventory process, expedite materials, and supervise shipments.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, focusing on meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, drive, proactive communication, and a willingness to help and support others.
  • Conduct reporting, analysis, and set corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role within a corporate manufacturing company.
  • Proficient in English and Czech/Slovak, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and MRP (QAD is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working well with various teams.
  • Careful and attentive to accuracy in tasks related to material planning and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a proactive approach to tasks.
