Boeing South Carolina (BSC) Fulfillment is seeking a Materials Management & Transportation Manager to lead a hands-on team that delivers parts, kits, tools and equipment to the BSC flightline. You will ensure readiness, schedule adherence, technical quality, and safety across materials operations that directly enable on-time aircraft delivery.

The role requires leadership, production‑synchronized material delivery experience (kitting, milk runs, kanban), and a focus on continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and employees

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations

• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

• Willingness to work any shift assigned based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in or supporting flightline operations

• Experience in tool and equipment management

• Experience with safety and quality processes

Shift:

This position is variable shift, meaning you will be placed on a shift at time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation.

Summary pay range: $108,000 - $132,000
