As a key member of the material handling team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.

Role Summary:

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Little or no knowledge of the job, acquires job skills and procedures to complete routine tasks. Has little judgement and decision making under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods
  • Rejecting unsatisfactory, damaged, or defected items
  • Lifting or moving heavy items
  • Operating equipment to move or expedite material to proper department or storage location
  • Store material in their designated locations after been received in the system
  • Examining stocks and distributing materials and supplies in inventory to manufacturing lines
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
  • Preparing goods for final shipment and maintaining records of shipped merchandise
  • Safety culture oriented
  • Participate in audits and 5S program
  • Basic knowledge in continuous improvement activities
  • Inform supervisor or lead of work-related problems
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience

Work environment | Physical demands:

  • Climate controlled workspace
  • Typical warehouse environment, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and utilize a pallet jack.
  • Physical Demands: standing, sitting, climbing, crouching/kneeling, lifting, carting, etc.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving and process creation/optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in training others preferred.
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of leadership, generate clear and concise written reports, and interact with teams in problem solving activities required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and ethnical work environment.
  • Fosters a positive work environment and encourages collaboration among team.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdriver, hammer, wrench, etc.), power tools, and test equipment.
  • Proficient in use of computers/office equipment
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex product problems using independent judgement.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience.
