Job Description:

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Prepare product for shipping on skids, crates, or boxes

  • Pick, issue, and/or deliver parts to the production floor

  • Maintain parts staging and organization

  • Work from production orders/material requisition lists, and/or verbal instructions to identify the disposition of materials

  • Fill production orders

  • Assist with cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies, to move stock or organize storage

  • Attend team meetings; may provide input on material shortages or quality issues

  • Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members

  • Regular and predictable attendance at the worksite and on any assigned shift or work schedule is required for this position, as is the ability to work frequent overtime. This is not a job that can be performed remotely

  • Check in packages received by matching items with packing lists

  • Deliver received packages to the appropriate people if applicable

  • Put away received stock orders

  • Complete receiver transaction in Infor/LN

  • All other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Knowledge or aptitude of perpetual inventory systems

  • Intermediate computer aptitude

  • Flexibility in job tasks

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

  • Willing to assist in other areas as needed.

  • Have good housekeeping and strict adherence to safety.

  • Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.  Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
