Lilly is currently constructing a cutting edge facility for the manufacture of new modalities including Gene Therapy in Lebanon, Indiana. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site focused on the delivery of the next wave of innovative products at Lilly. It will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety, quality, and process performance. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the team for the startup of a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to start up the facility for both clinical and commercial supply.
This is an exciting opportunity to help start up a state-of-the-art facility and build a manufacturing supply chain from ground-up. The Supply Chain organization has responsibility for scheduling the manufacturing processes for Lebanon Advanced Therapies site and supporting manufacturing with all inbound and outbound material flows.
The Master Data Analysts play a critical role within the Supply Chain organization by maintaining the fundamental master data set residing in SAP. The initial phase of the project will require extensive cross-functional work with procurement, quality, and warehouse operations to deliver an operational SAP system. As the site transitions to the production phase, the team will also be involved in tracking supply chain metrics and driving continuous improvement. They will work closely with multiple teams across the site to manage data change requests, solve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement activities around Master Data.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain key data and data design in SAP (Material Master, Bill of Materials, Recipes, Resource, Purchasing-Info Records and Warehousing) and associated systems
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials
Ensure global data consistence and conformance to SOPs while managing master data updates due to process or system changes.
Serve as a key member of the SAP Implementation Project Team during the greenfield site construction/startup phase.
Contribute to global initiatives for Master Data Management, as required, and attend select Power User forums to share best practices with peers
Generate OSSCE (Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence) metrics and Pareto analyses
Drive process improvement initiatives which could include developing process flows for setup of new materials and leveraging appropriate tools/reports to track maintenance efforts, data accuracy, and data completeness
Participate in annual standard costing assessment in readiness for Business Planning and drive the annual review of planning data
Troubleshoot SAP or MES execution problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions
Investigate deviations and provide impact assessments for change management
Maintain a safe workplace through proper ergonomic practices
Maintain a state of compliance (learning plan, SOP adherence, etc.)
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
or
high-school diploma with 5+ years relevant SAP work experience
Additional Preferences:
SAP / Master Data experience in Material Master creation and maintenance
Knowledge / Experience in Manufacturing, Packaging, and/or Customer Service
Strong organizational and Project Management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer-oriented
Excellent Computer skills (e.g., MRP, SAP, Excel)
Other Information:
8 hour work days – Monday through Friday
May need to be available off shift and respond to operational issues as-needed
Minimal travel required (<5%)

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,500 - $137,500Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
