About the Job
We’re looking for a commercially minded Marketplace Trader & Planner to join our European Digital Commerce team. This role is key to driving growth and operational excellence across our marketplace business models, where LS&Co. manages sales and stock on third‑party platforms.
You’ll lead planning before the season starts, manage in‑season trading, and optimise performance based on trends and market needs. From stock allocation and replenishment to markdown strategy and campaign readiness, you’ll ensure our products are visible, available, and profitable across partners like Zalando, About You, Amazon and ASOS.
In this role, you will:
Shape the strategy: Develop and execute marketplace trading plans in collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams.
Plan the buy: Build seasonal budgets and represent marketplaces in internal buy meetings to maximise commercial opportunities.
Manage stock: Oversee initial allocations, replenishment cadence, markdowns and inventory flow; align OTB with Finance and reconcile plans vs targets.
Optimise operations: Monitor partner platforms for listing health and visibility; ensure correct order management and promotional pricing set‑up.
Drive performance: Track daily and weekly results using BI tools; implement corrective actions and prepare for key campaign moments like Cyber Week and End‑of‑Season Sales.
Collaborate and analyse: Work cross‑functionally to optimise assortment, monetise opportunities and mitigate risks through data‑driven insights.
About You
3+ years’ experience in eCommerce, merchandising or trading, with at least 2 years focused on marketplaces.
Hands‑on experience with partners such as Zalando, About You, Amazon or ASOS.
Skilled in marketplace tools (e.g., Zalando zDirect, Seller Central, Mirakl), Excel and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau).
Strong understanding of trading KPIs (sell‑through, ROI, MD%, size availability).
Commercial mindset, analytical skills and ability to influence across teams in a fast‑paced environment.
