Marketing Specialist, Photo & Video Production

What you’ll do

Administration 

  • Annual and detailed budget monitoring in collaboration with the manager
  • Invoicing management:  Obtain approval for quotes and invoices
  • Manage and negotiate contracts, quotes, bids, and invoices from external suppliers

Production

  • Assist managers (photo, video, and in-house studio) with the production component of campaign development
  • Casting research and recommendations (contracts, uses, and rights of use)
  • Filming location research and recommendations (rights, permits, and insurance)
  • Partner research and recommendations: photographers, videographers, motion designers, and external suppliers related to the creative field
  • Hire makeup artists, stylists, photo assistants, digi tech, and set designers
  • Prepare production schedules and deadlines and confirm them with external partners
  • Present on all shoots and filming (assisting with supervising teams in the field)
  • Ensure the transport and movement of equipment
  • Manage logistics during shoots (arrival, meals, setup, etc.)
  • Coordinate all FGL Studio shoots in collaboration with product specialists

Post-production 

  • Post-production photo management
  • Coordinate colorization and touch-ups
  • Coordinate motion design 
  • Coordinate sound sessions
  • Coordinate external freelance editors
  • Monitor video and photo rights

Planning

  • Assists with annual shoot and filming planning
  • Participate in the development of shoot plans with managers and the planning team
  • Assist the manager in the development of major strategic presentations: shoot plans and PPM documents
  • Collaborate in sample management with product specialists

What you bring

  • Degree in production, project management, communications, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in film, photo shoot, or event management
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of sports, as well as local physical and outdoor activities
  • Understanding of photo shoot production stages and traditional, digital, and social marketing channels
  • Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite 365
  • French (spoken and written), English (functional in a work context)
  • Experience in the retail sector (an asset).
  • Team player with a high degree of autonomy and communication skills
  • Strategic and creative approach that puts the brand at the heart of their thinking
  • Strong ability to thrive in a matrix work structure and demonstrate operational agility in a retail environment
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous: ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes at the same time
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build good interpersonal relationships
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Interest in the creative industry (an asset)
