Job Description
What’s on the table
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Intern to join our EPDM (Europe Pacific Developed Markets) team and support the ‘Away From Home’ (AFH) channel at Kraft Heinz.
The Away From Home (AFH) channel refers to the segment of our business that focuses on products and experiences consumed or used outside the home environment. This includes foodservice and hospitality partners such as restaurants, cafés, hotels, offices, educational institutions, entertainment venues, and quick-service restaurants (like Burger King, KFC, and Five Guys), among others.
As an AFH Intern, you will play a key role in leading channel management efforts, supporting innovative marketing projects, and building strong relationships with our markets and partners. There is a strong emphasis on maintaining close relationships with markets to ensure the right portfolio, successful product launches, and consistent execution.
This position offers a blend of strategic planning and creative execution, focusing on market analysis, product development, and innovative communication strategies. You will manage multiple projects, take real ownership of your work, and contribute to impactful marketing initiatives across different regions.
The Position
· Community Management: Lead the EPDM AFH community by creating and being a part of routines where information and updates that help markets be successful are shared and communicated across relevant stakeholders.
· Collaboration with Internal and External Partners: Work closely with the brand and marketing teams to develop and execute cross-channel campaigns (AFH + Retail). Our main collaboration is with local markets, while also supporting major partners such as Burger King, KFC, and Five Guys when relevant.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement impactful campaigns across our foodservice network, driving brand awareness and sales growth. Support the development of growth strategies for the AFH sector and contribute to the product development process from concept to market launch, working closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams.
· Partner Communication and Content Creation: Serve as a liaison between our organization and markets, supporting the Commercial team (responsible for partner relationships) by collecting and generating content that helps strengthen partnerships. Organize virtual webinars to facilitate knowledge sharing and business growth.
· Event and Project Coordination: Assist in organizing internal and external online and offline events, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact. Manage relationships with internal and external partners, including media and creative agencies, while also collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
· New Product Launches and Projects: Support the team with upcoming product launches and strategic projects, contributing to the development of growth plans for the AFH sector. Participate in the full product development cycle, from concept creation to market launch, by collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, and sales to ensure successful execution.
Qualifications and Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (Year 3 or 4) or Master’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field. More important than your education, we value the right mindset, curiosity, and motivation to learn.
You need to be enrolled at a university for at least 50% (for EU-EEA) or 100% (for non-EU) of the internship duration. Note that for internships, we only hire candidates who are currently registered as students.
You need to have EU citizenship or an EU working permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) to proceed with this position.
