The Position

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team at Roche Diagnostics Turkiye.

The Position / Overview

The Marketing Manager for Oncology, Tissue Diagnostics, and Sequencing leads and oversees the team, including Product Managers, and ensures the alignment of marketing strategies for these critical business areas with the broader organizational goals. This role reports to the Group Marketing Manager and is essential for creating demand and maximizing sales for the Dia portfolio.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the market and customer needs in the Healthcare & IVD industry. You will be an ambassador of the VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach) leadership traits, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and Growth Mindset.

This role requires a proactive approach to KOL/Stakeholder management and expertise in collaborating with Pharma companies to generate high-value projects. You will share deep local market insights globally to ensure product development and marketing strategies support the local market.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution:

  • Steer the vision and strategy of the marketing mix, emphasizing customer engagement.
  • Oversee development of specific marketing strategies and plans for the product portfolio.
  • Actively participate in pricing strategies.
  • Lead the product portfolio business plan/integrated strategic plan preparations.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate team members.
  • Demonstrate VACC leadership (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach) with a focus on day-to-day coaching and mentoring.
  • Anticipate and remove barriers to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals, and proactively challenge the status quo.
  • Drive digital transformation and process enhancement for consistent customer engagement.

Market & Customer Insight:

  • Ensure a clear and deep understanding of the market and customer needs within the organization.
  • Monitors market analysis, competitive activity, market opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Share in-depth understanding of customer, competition, and market trends to global business areas.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Effectively collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams including local, regional, and global stakeholders.
  • Manage relations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external stakeholders.
  • Build collaborative relationships with peers and teams, helping cross-functional teams address strategic opportunities.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee marketing budget creation and utilization.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, and market shares.
  • Ensure all activities align with Roche Policy Guidelines, quality expectations, brand guidelines, and local regulations.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare departments (Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering), Business Administration, or related field in science/engineering.

  • Experienced leader with a minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry experience with a record of accomplishment in strategy development, leadership, people management, and project execution. Experience in oncology is a strong plus. 

  • Demonstrated VACC leadership and leadership experience in managing and developing a team is required.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen, commercial understanding together with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive for results.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, good negotiation and influencing capabilities. Proficiency in analyzing market data and competitive activity.

  • Excellent command of English (both written and verbal) is critical for effective communication with internal and external international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA, Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant advanced degree is a plus. A Master's degree in Marketing is highly preferred.

  • Sales experience is a plus.

  • Experience with C-level customer engagements and vision selling of Healthcare Solutions.
