The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and experienced marketing professional ready to make a significant impact in healthcare? We're looking for a Marketing Enabler based in Gauteng to join our team and drive value creation for patients, our business, and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Patient Journey Partners (PJPs) and the Disease Area Squad Team members ( e.g. Squad lead, Medical , Market Access & Finance) to deliver meaningful benefits through innovative solutions. This could involve product innovation, treatment pathway design, new patient services, operational efficiency improvements, global knowledge sharing, or external collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies for therapeutic areas, working closely with your Squad and PJPs.
Align with broader and global networks to identify new opportunities and solutions.
Collaborate closely with the squad lead to localize and execute tactics in partnership with global networks
Oversee the patient journey, contributing to value creation by supporting successful projects.
Translate scientific data into commercial insights, providing marketing expertise and optimizing new product launches.
Stay current on commercialization strategies by participating in congresses, scientific meetings, and global update meetings.
Identify and address opportunities and challenges in the Patient Journey, leveraging insights from PJPs, your Squad, and external engagements.
Design and implement measurement strategies to ensure outcomes are met and impact is tracked.
Own the annual business plan, gathering insights, formulating strategic plans, and identifying opportunities and challenges.
Develop marketing materials in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Prepare and update training materials, delivering internal education and training programs.
Act as a marketing expert, generating strategies and communication content for digital platforms.
Leverage digital channels and tools for effective digital communications and enhanced customer experiences.
Ensure continuous sales and logistics forecasting, working closely with PJPs, your Squad, and the Finance team.
Who We're Looking For:
A completed undergraduate degree (scientific or business).
5+ years of proven marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, specifically in marketing/product management or digital marketing.
Working Experience in specialized therapeutic areas, Oncology, Haematology or Rare Diseases
Strong knowledge of the pharma industry, life cycle management, and pharma marketing processes.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, work effectively in project teams, and influence internal members and key stakeholders.
Digital literacy with a good understanding of digital solutions supporting patients in the market.
