The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for transforming marketing strategies into effective automated campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation and nurturing, customer retention, and cross- and up-selling. This role oversees the ideation, design, and execution of marketing tactics through automation platforms, ensuring seamless delivery and measurable business impact. Working closely with Product Marketing and Digital/eBusiness teams, the manager maximizes the use of automation to support and advance overall business objectives.

Collaboration is central to this role, requiring close partnership with Digital Marketing, Marketing Managers, Campaign Managers, Designers, and other key stakeholders across Commercial and IT functions. Together, they ensure that all marketing automation initiatives are strategically aligned, creatively executed, and optimized for performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of marketing automation campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and lead nurturing.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the marketing automation platform, ensuring efficient workflows and campaign delivery across digital channels.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

  •  Partner with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with customer journeys and business goals.

  • Assist with audience segmentation, personalization, and testing strategies to enhance engagement and conversion.

  • Maintain accurate data practices and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR).

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or certification in Marketing Automation or Digital Marketing is a plus.

  • Experience using a marketing automation platform such as Marketo (or similar).

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM (SFDC) and basic HTML/CSS for email customization.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, customer journeys, and campaign metrics.

  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing, testing methodologies, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Creative thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

The full-time base annual salary for this remote position is expected to range between $101,000.00 and $173,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
