About the role:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Tender excellence (Finland): Lead pre-tender planning, dossier creation, pricing, submission, clarifications, award follow-up, and implementation according to the Nordic Tender Excellence process; maintain a live pipeline and status in Microsoft Planner
Scope of channels: Own market access and price agreements for hospitals, wellbeing services counties/municipalities, homecare, and other relevant channels within Finland for AWC and OC portfolios
Local strategy & execution: Translate Nordic strategies into Finland-specific access plans; drive execution with sales teams to maximize coverage, share, and margin.
Pricing governance: Manage Finnish pricing strategy, guardrails, and discount approvals; monitor reference/parallel effects and ensure compliance with internal policies
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Customer Service to deliver competitive, compliant proposals and seamless post-award onboarding
Distributor/wholesaler coordination: For direct and indirect tenders, coordinate with approved distributors/wholesalers to align pricing, service levels, and contractual deliverables
Forecasting & supply: Co-own monthly demand forecasting for Finland with Supply Chain; lead professional backorder communications and mitigation plans with customers
Contract management: Ensure accurate contract set-up, documentation, price uploads, renewals, and change controls; track KPIs and compliance throughout term
Market intelligence: Continuously map Finnish procurement calendars, frameworks, and competitor moves; inform scenario planning and value propositions
New product access: Support launch readiness incl. shaping tenders for new positions (e.g., health economic value stories, tender text, criteria) and rationalization of non-strategic SKUs
Business development: Identify and qualify new access opportunities (e.g., pilots, protocols, local pathways) that drive incremental growth
About You
You’re a results-driven Market Access professional with solid experience in Finnish healthcare procurement. You excel in managing tenders, pricing, and contracts, and you’re confident working across teams to deliver operational excellence. Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health economics, Public Procurement, Business, Health Administration or related field (Master’s an advantage)
Demonstrated market access / tender experience in Finland (public procurement, EU/ national frameworks) within medical devices or related healthcare sectors
Proven track record managing pricing, tender submissions, negotiations, and post-award implementation
Strong data analysis skills to optimize sales and margin; proficient with Excel/Power BI or similar tools
Knowledge & Skills
Deep understanding of Finnish healthcare decision-making and procurement pathways
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, effective with both direct customers and indirect (distributor) models
Strong project management discipline
Collaborative team player; proactive, structured, accountable
Clear, concise written and verbal communication
Languages & IT:
Finnish: fluent (written and spoken)
English: fluent (written and spoken)
Swedish: a plus
Solid IT proficiency (MS Office 365, especially Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity with Microsoft Planner and CRM preferred)
Working conditions
Primarily office in Vantaa, Helsinki & opportunity for partly home-office
Customer and internal meetings as needed (estimated 10 days/year within Finland; occasional Nordic travel)
Full-time position under national legislation.
