Position Summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced individual for a Project Integration Engineer. This Engineering role will use extensive knowledge of proprietary Samsung Electronics Manufacturing systems to manage software improvement projects for those systems. As a Project Integration Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing, systems and fab engineering personnel to drive software solution projects with optimal impact to the factoryRole and Responsibilities
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
Lead end‑to‑end ownership of multiple critical systems, acting as the primary project manager for all change initiatives.
Gather, validate, and translate customer needs into detailed technical specifications for Korean and U.S. engineering teams via the internal request platform.
Drive system upgrades from scoping through development, testing, user acceptance, and production release, coordinating cross‑functional efforts and stakeholder engagement.
Partner with Samsung Developer Teams to standardize software and align enhancement releases with power‑user requirements.
Analyze pre‑ and post‑release factory and system performance using SQL, Splunk, and Spotfire to quantify impact and uncover improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and facilitate end‑user testing, iterate based on feedback, and ensure smooth adoption of new releases.
Translate project status, analytics, and ROI assessments into concise slide decks and presentations for executive and tactical meetings.
Evaluate the business impact of each project, communicating findings to stakeholders and recommending prioritization.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred.
3 years or more industry experience. 5-7 years industry experience is preferred.
Other degrees will be considered with significant industry and project management experience (10+ years).
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
