The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is seeking Senior Manufacturing Managers to join the 777 Wing Assembly team located in Everett, Washington.
Provide senior leadership oversight, coaching, and guidance to ensure integration and execution of the Wing Assembly plan for second shift in coordination with partnering MBUS (Final Assembly, CWC, and Fuselage) where appropriate.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage shop structure from Spars through Wing Body Join production areas on 2nd shift
Own the BPS plan and implementation across Wing Assembly
Provide leadership, direction, and influence across production teams and partner organizations
Coach and mentor team leads and leaders to develop skills and behaviors for safe, efficient, and compliant production execution
Oversee pre‑work and production activities, including sequencing to meet planned production requirements and technical objectives
Develop positive relationships with downstream stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
Drive continuous improvement, problem solving, and root cause corrective actions to eliminate defects and improve performance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs and applicable regulatory requirements
Monitor metrics and performance to ensure production goals are met and identify opportunities to optimize throughput
Lead and engage cross‑functional teams to execute the Wing Assembly plan for second shift in coordination with partnering MBUS where appropriate
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System (BPS)
3+ years of experience using production improvement techniques
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
