What You Will Do: 

• Provides technical interpretation of drawings and specifications

• Provides information to evaluate, select and order capital test equipment and complete cost/payback analysis

• Eliminate/reduce test defects and improve test yields for routine issues of various levels of scope

• Perform root cause analysis and take corrective action to resolve test failures

• Assures that proper technical assistance and training is provided to floor test technicians

• Maintains all test documentation in current configuration

• Analyzes manufacturing test processes for cost reduction opportunities

• Provides technical assistance and support to sub-assembly and top-level testing

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior experience supporting various high-frequency communication radios & circuit board manufacturing processes

• Experience with engineering tools used in the build & test of HF and Tacair radios. (SAP, Engineering drawings, change control board, Solidworks, AutoCAD, eView, PDM, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
