We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Specialist to lead and supervise a team of operators, including Group Leaders (GL), Foremen (F), and General Foreman(GF), ensuring efficient and effective shop floor operations. The role is responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, cost, time, and morale (QCTM), in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Main responsibilities:
Production Oversight: Monitor hourly production output and take immediate corrective actions to maintain target volumes and quality standards.
Process Auditing: Conduct weekly audits of the shop’s Standardized Shop Visit (SSV) to ensure compliance with shop floor management standards.
Standardization Compliance: Review and validate Standard Operation Sheets (SOS) to ensure alignment with Global Operation Standards (GOS) and Common Operation Sheets.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all shop operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve technical issues on the production line, ensuring minimal disruption and consistent product quality.
Training & Development: Supervise the training plans and skills matrix of operators to ensure competency and adherence to APW (Advanced Production Way) standards.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement the annual shop improvement action plan. Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Quality & Compliance: Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Support internal and external audits, including renewal and surveillance activities.
Customer Focus: Address market concerns related to the assembly line. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure customer satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing process management (Automotive industry
Willingness and ability to work in shifts.
Experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a production environment is an advantage.
Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint,).
Excellent communication skills.
