Marsh is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our Corporate Sport team as a Managing Principal in Melbourne.
As a senior leader within the Corporate Sport team, you will be accountable for driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of large, high-profile sport insurance programs. Your role will involve managing and nurturing client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor, spearheading new business development, and broadening the range of Marsh products and services held by clients. Additionally, you will mentor and guide colleagues, providing expert direction on account management.
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Proactively manage all aspects of account servicing and client engagement, ensuring client needs are anticipated and met in line with agreed service standards.
- Lead the planning and execution of clear, effective renewal and broking strategies that deliver results aligned with client expectations.
- Provide strategic insurance advice and attend client Board meetings as required.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities by leveraging your knowledge of Marsh’s service and product offerings, market trends, and the business landscape of key accounts.
- Represent Marsh at industry events, conferences, and client functions to build a strong professional network, stay connected to the market, and showcase our solutions and expertise.
What you need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in a commercial corporate insurance environment, with strong expertise in corporate insurance product programs.
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking Certificate.
- Technical product knowledge including ISR, Casualty and Group Personal Accident
- Proven ability to build meaningful relationships at all organisational levels.
- A sharp eye for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and guiding team members.
- A passion for sport.
