About the Team

On the Inside Post Sales team, our mission is to promote Mx growth on the DoorDash platform to grow local economies with Mx across SMB. 

About the Role

You will oversee the daily operations of one of our offshore vendor outbound sales teams, ensuring success in achieving our quarterly OKR goals.  You will be leading vendor leader(s) in this role vs working directly with the reps that are on the phones.   You will effectively coach, train, manage, lead and communicate with our offshore front line leader(s) to help them successfully run their vendor teams and lead them to high performance.  You will work closely with our strategy and operations team to report up on sales metrics.  This role can be remote (with prior approval) although living near the Tempe office is encouraged to participate in Regional and IPS leadership meetings in person.  Whether located remote or in Tempe, some attendance in the office for team events, meetings and activities may be required, as well as occasional travel both within and outside of the US.

  • Provide overall sales direction to the team.
  • Manage other leaders from our vendor partner, who directly manage a team of reps. You’ll be responsible for the success of the full vendor team(s) assigned to you.
  • Manage-up to the company leadership team about strategy and execution plan. 
  • exercise wide latitude in determining goals and approaches to business-critical assignments.
  • Identify and analyze issues that need to be addressed and convene the appropriate parties to select an optimal resolution path. 
  • Create an operational infrastructure that will enable the team to operate at its best, even in your absence.
  • Contribute to elevating the DoorDash values both internally and externally.
  • Be a role model to others, providing sought-after leadership and support.
  • Work with both our US DoorDash leadership team, as well as our international vendor partners, allowing for remote work and occasional travel to team meetings, and possible vendor site visits.

  • You are a highly-skilled communicator, culturally aware, and create a working environment of trust and collaboration.
  • You're able to navigate sales tools (e.g. SFDC, Outreach, Chorus, GSuite) easily.
  • You are resourceful, organized, and able to work independently. 
  • You are patient and passionate about serving others and assisting in their development.
  • You are able to travel domestically and   internationally, if needed.  
  • If you’re multilingual, it’s a plus.
