We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee the restaurant brand’s payment systems and POS development and implementation processes. This role is critical to ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable payment experiences across all restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end operations of our payment network — including Verifone Gateway, VHQ, and Fiserv processing — while also driving development initiatives with our Point-of-Sale (POS) vendor to support evolving business needs.
REPONSIBILITIES
Payment Network Management
Own the performance, reliability, and support of the restaurant’s payment infrastructure.
Manage integrations and troubleshooting across Verifone Gateway, VHQ, and Fiserv processor.
Partner with IT, operations, and vendors to ensure compliance, uptime, and rapid issue resolution.
POS Vendor Development Intake
Serve as the primary liaison for intake and prioritization of POS development requests.
Collaborate with restaurant operations, brand teams, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.
Track and manage development workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand goals.
Process Creation & Stakeholder Reporting
Design and implement scalable processes for development intake, tracking, and vendor communication.
Build reporting frameworks to provide visibility into development progress, vendor performance, and issue resolution.
Present regular updates to brand stakeholders, translating technical progress into business impact.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
4 Year Degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, ideally within the restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong understanding of payment systems, POS technologies, and vendor development lifecycles.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience creating operational processes and reporting tools in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
Experience working in a heavily franchised environment.
