What you'll do
Operational Excellence & Reliability Engineering
Lead production deployments for store applications in partnership with product and L3 teams.
Own change and release management processes, including risk mitigation, impact analysis, and conflict resolution.
Ensure production readiness through reviews, approvals, and testing validation.
Drive automation and self-healing initiatives across platforms.
Monitoring, Metrics & Incident Management
Implement and optimize monitoring and alerting systems for full-stack observability.
Improve incident response metrics including MTTR, RCA timelines, and reduction of critical incidents.
Ensure alerts and incidents are tracked and escalated appropriately in ServiceNow.
Team Leadership & Development
Mentor and develop SRE and L2 support teams, including onboarding, training, and performance management.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure SLA compliance and effective service delivery.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
Strategic Planning & Governance
Develop and maintain a 5-year roadmap aligned with architectural and business goals.
Advance SRE maturity across governance, resilience, security, and capacity planning.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards and security protocols.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to align priorities and deliverables.
Ensure clear communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.
Provide strategic direction and leadership, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
What you bring
At least 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles.
Skilled in automation, scripting (Python, Bash), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
Strong experience with monitoring tools (New Relic, Grafana) and incident management platforms (ServiceNow).
Proven leadership in managing technical teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
Experience handling vendor relationships and ensuring SLA compliance.
History of leading production deployments and managing change/release processes.
Ability to drive automation initiatives and implement self-healing systems.
Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to develop long-term strategic roadmaps aligned with business goals.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
