About the Role

The Manager, Site Merchandising – Women’s will drive the digital merchandising strategy for Athleta’s Women’s business across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll be responsible for curating, optimizing, and storytelling the Women’s product experience on Athleta.com—from seasonal category shops to collection launches and core replenishment strategies.

This role sits at the intersection of brand and commerce, balancing art and science to create a seamless, inspiring, and high-performing online shopping experience. You’ll partner closely with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to bring Athleta’s mission of empowering women and girls to life through every click, page, and product story.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end site merchandising strategy for Athleta’s Women’s business—including category pages, collections, and seasonal content.
  • Translate business priorities and brand storytelling into effective digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align site updates with product launches, campaigns, and promotional strategies.
  • Develop and maintain site merchandising calendars that reflect seasonal and product flow priorities.
  • Leverage analytics, testing, and customer insights to optimize product discoverability, navigation, and performance.
  • Influence UX and Site Experience roadmaps by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer journey.
  • Maintain site hygiene and accuracy across Women’s product listings, categorization, filters, and imagery.
  • Support QA and readiness for all major launches, promotions, and site refreshes.
  • Champion customer-first thinking and a test-and-learn culture within digital merchandising.

Who You Are

  • 5–7 years of experience in ecommerce or site merchandising, preferably in apparel, lifestyle, or performance retail.
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising principles, conversion drivers, and site analytics.
  • A creative problem solver with the ability to merge brand storytelling and data-driven decision-making.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with proven success managing multiple projects and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Comfortable interpreting data, identifying insights, and applying learnings to optimize execution.
  • A collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
  • Passionate about Athleta’s mission to empower women and girls through movement and connection.
