RTX BBN Technologies Global Security Services (GSS) oversees compliance of Title 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program at each of our cleared facility locations, covering Physical Security, Operational Security, Classified Cyber Security and Program Security.

RTX BBN Technologies is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee BBN’s Physical and Technical Security programs as well working with our foreign national visiting researchers and managing BBN’s security vendor relationships. This position requires a self-starter who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.  This role encompasses a variety of duties and responsibilities to include daily communication with program management, both external and internal customers and RTX GSS counterparts. 

What You Will Do

  • As the RTX BBN GSS Operation Lead your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage contracts with current guard forces across BBN
  • Responsible for UL2050 Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to include CCTV networks across all 7 BBN locations
  • Manage BBN’s Access Control Systems. Oversee transition from legacy system to CCure9000
  • Manager BBN’s secure space database. Partner with internal customers to allocate secure workspace to awarded projects
  • Supervise 3rd party Locksmith calls
  • Responsible for security related CAPEX material
  • Work with foreign national visiting scientists
  • Team with RTX Corporate GSS for site specific PHYSEC assessments
  • Manage direct reports along with BBN GSS’s Annual Intern program

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years prior experience in the NISP (National Industrial Security Program), 12 years NISP experience sans degree.
  • Ability to travel < 10%
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to respond to security related calls after normal working hours and weekends

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
