Who Are We Looking For?

As a Manager, Saver Operations, you will lead a team of 4-7 Operations Associates responsible for processing distributions and loans from retirement plans as well lead the Gradifi Operations team. Your role will focus on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while optimizing workflows and providing guidance to your team. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance operational effectiveness and deliver an exceptional experience to participants.

What Will You Be Doing?

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4-7 Operations Associates.
  • Set performance expectations, track key metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and training to ensure team members develop expertise in distributions and loans processing.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Operational Oversight & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of participant requests for distributions and loans in partnership with the Financial Crimes Compliance team. 
  • Supervise the student loan verification, contribution remittance, and operational processes for the Gradifi product line. 
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Review team performance against SLAs and implement process improvements as needed.
  • Manage escalations and complex cases, ensuring efficient resolution and participant satisfaction.
  • Oversee special transactions, straight-through-processing, and ad-hoc projects.

Process Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance and customer support, to refine workflows.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational procedures and participant experience.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of participant interactions within Jira and other systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, financial services, or retirement plan administration.
  • 1-2 years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of retirement plans, distributions, and loan processing.
  • Experience with Jira, Zendesk, Aircall, or similar task management and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to support coaching and collaboration.

This role can be based in Vestwell’s NYC or King of Prussia office, and will be expected to report to the office in a hybrid schedule.

The expected base salary range for this position is $85K - $95K base. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
