The Sales and Operations Manager – ANZ is an essential team member responsible for overseeing the support functions essential to the sales and marketing productivity within Australia and New Zealand.  The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to: overseeing day-to-day operations for the market, supply chain requirements, fill rate optimization, sell-in reporting, store planning projects, upholding relationships with retailer planning teams and connecting with headquarters on developing and implementing processes.

The Sales and Operations Manager will possess strong organizational capabilities, demonstrate exceptional communication skills and has a knack for building collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines is imperative. This position will report to the General Manager – ANZ.  If you’re a blend of problem solver and excellent communicator, you’ll thrive in this role. WHAT YOU DO:

Work closely with the Australia / New Zealand local team, 3PL warehouse and global team to effectively complete day to day operational tasks to ensure best in class demand planning and supply to retailers. 

  • Demand Planning: Manage demand planning for the Australian market across Open Sell, Travel Retail (TR), and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels. Perform analysis in Excel and collaborate with the central Demand Planning team to update Oracle Planning Cloud (OPC)
  • Supply Planning: Oversee supply planning volumes for the Australian 3PL, ensuring accurate analysis and coordination with the central Supply Planning team for OPC updates
  • Launches: Prepare, allocate, manage via timely sell-in of all new product launches, re-promotes, and brand initiatives
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and maintain sales reports across Open Sell, DTC, and TR channels
  • Inventory Management: Monitor retailer on-hand inventory in distribution centers and stores, ensuring timely replenishment and compliance with stock requirements. Identify key missed opportunities and find solutions for re-occuring and problematic SKU’s
  • Order Accuracy: Review retailer newness orders to confirm proper segregation of newness and replenishment items and adherence to pre-approved allocations
  • Customer Collaboration: Partner with Open Sell customers to agree stock plans and to resolve order-related issues, investigate chargebacks or short payments, and implement corrective actions
  • Returns Management: Oversee customer returns to the 3PL and provide guidance on disposition plans
  • 3PL Training & Oversight: Train 3PL on special kitting instructions, review invoices for accuracy and efficiency, and ensure smooth operations for wholesale, DTC, influencer, and VIP orders during critical brand moments
  • Logistics Optimization: Audit Aus Post and TGE parcel invoices to maintain optimal service levels
  • Customer Onboarding: Support onboarding of new customers and communicate key dates for volume surges, sharing rolling forecasts
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure luxury pack-out standards and aggregate market quality and customer complaints for escalation to central teams
  • Communication: Be the point person for all operations matters and have a problem solving mind-set

  • Ability to travel between head office and 3PL when required.  Visit retailers for meetings
  • Team player with no ego, willing to roll up their sleeves where no task is too large or small.
  • Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time
