The Job

1. Network Development & Strategy

  • Support the design and execution of strategies to expand and optimize the provider network.

  • Identify gaps in network coverage and recommend solutions to ensure access and adequacy.

  • Assist in implementing value-based care models and alternative payment arrangements.

2. Contracting & Negotiation

  • Negotiate and manage contracts with hospitals, clinics, and specialty providers.

  • Finalize agreements including direct billing, discounted fee arrangements, and service-level expectations.

  • Maintain accurate records of provider agreements and updates.

3. Provider Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and third-party administrators (TPAs).

  • Monitor service quality and compliance with contractual terms.

  • Resolve provider issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.

4. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure provider network operations comply with Hong Kong’s healthcare regulations and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on audits and risk mitigation.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Analyze provider performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

  • Support cost containment initiatives through data-driven insights.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Claims, Pre-authorization, Sales, Agents and Client Management teams to align network strategies with business goals.

  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams based on provider performance analytics.

The Person

  • University degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in provider network management or healthcare operations.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.

  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s healthcare system and regulatory environment.

  • Familiarity with Hong Kong provider networks and healthcare trends.

  • Experience working with TPAs, clinics and hospitals.

  • Knowledge of cost containment strategies and fee schedule development.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with VHIS and group medical plans
