Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Manager of Program Management 3 based out of the Melbourne, FL location.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and driving high quality program execution through their direct support and performance as a leader of the Air Vehicle team.
Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely.
The position will follow our 9/80 schedule and allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support IPT Leader in Program Integration tasks, including establishing program rhythm and understanding program requirements and requirements management. Ability to lead IPT as delegated authority, when required.
- Supports development of program artifacts such as the Work Breakdown Structure, Integrated Master Schedule and Program Statement of Work. Ensures adherence to Earned Value (EV) methodologies and Risk & Opportunity Management.
- Support program reviews and develop and deliver presentations including presenting status and program performance to executive leadership and customers.
- Establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
- Leadership of Supplier Management Team (SMT) strategy including development of procurement packages, negotiation, supplier requirements documents and procurement contracts.
- Manage suppliers to meet program objectives. Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management of AVS Section 10 Airframe SMT with a focus on program planning, Earned Value Management, Risk, Opportunity, and Affordability Management.
- Ensure adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships
- Submits and tracks Change Board and Risk/Issue/Opportunity (RIO) packages

- Active DoD Top-Secret clearance
- Active SAP/PAR approval
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in IPT or Project Management role
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Supplier Management role
- Experience supporting large scale aircraft programs

Primary Level Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
