Manager, Program Design and Delivery - Digital Safari Lead
The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.
The Business and Marketing Insights Global Product team is seeking a Manager to support the evolution and enhancement of Mastercard's Premium Thought Leadership offerings in North America and Latin America. This role is a product role and will be part of the Digital Safari Global Product Team within Mastercard's Services organization.
The Digital Safari Program.
The Digital Safari program is a premium global thought leadership program that informs, inspires and provokes it attendees. It provides real insight and foresight across key topics like digital transformation, leadership, cybersecurity, AI, ESG, strategic management and so much more. Its proven to help attendees gain a better understanding of new technologies, innovation strategies and methodologies. It de-risks strategic thinking and it encourages the development of innovative solutions and ways of working.
The Safari program is run across multiple locations including Dublin, San Francisco, New York, Stockholm, London and Singapore. Its speakers include leading academics from prestigious Universities like Stanford, UC Berkeley, Columbia, London School of Economics, Stockholm School of Economics, INSEAD.... Other subject matter experts are drawn from industry, fintech, research houses, consultancies, innovation labs and the investment community.
The program has grown impressively over the past 4 years and we are currently looking for a strong product manager that can help the program to scale further across NAM and LAC. In particular the role will focus on enhancing existing programs along the West Coast, including by not limited to, existing locations of San Francisco and Vancouver. They will also be responsible for developing new scaleable thought leadership propositions for Mastercard customers.
The Role
· Shape the evolution of thought leadership propositions by enhancing current thought leadership programs and designing new propositions types (eg: masterclasses, workshops, executive coaching, round-tables etc..) that are aligned with regional needs.
· Own data driven insight into how Mastercard's key customer segments are currently engaging with thought leadership. What schools, platforms, subjects and delivery channels are preferred?
·Leverage Mastercard’s existing learning and innovation assets—such as hubs, seminars, online courses, thought leadership events, and hackathons—while designing new offerings to address gaps in the current portfolio based on customer needs and delivery preferences.
· Design propositions with clearly defined personas in mind (early career, mid-management and senior executives).
· Develop relationships with existing and potential partners (Universities, Consultants, Subject Matter Experts) and develop and maintain a repository of high quality speakers.
· Develop a repository of insightful and engaging experiences, such as visits to innovation labs and simulations.
· Work across the Mastercard organizations to identify subject matter experts and to seek referrals for other high quality speakers.
· Design thought leadership programs/experiences including: the development of the program theme, the identification and evaluation of speakers (both internal and external) and the creation of a narrative that will resonate with Mastercard customers.
· Work with Digital Labs to build out an infrastructure layer (speakers, agencies, university partners) to support the design of Innovation Trips
· Cross sell and support the design and delivery of other BMI products such as virtual speaker series, seminars, fintech engagements etc.
· Work closely with the Regional Product leads to support business development opportunities.
· Work closely with legal, compliance and finance teams to ensure program compliance at all times.
· Work with the Safari and Digital Labs operations teams to ensure that processes are robust and scaleable.
· Host programs and take a pro-active approach to ensuring sessions and the program drive value to our customers and act as a catalyst for future engagements.
All About You
• Experience with Program Development, and partnership management. Product P&L management,
• Knowledge of new technologies and desire to apply technology to solve problems, particularly in banking and payments
• Robust network and network building capabilities particular in the innovation, tech and fintech space
• Experience in innovation ideally in financial services
• Seasoned presenter and facilitator with excellent communication skills
• Experience in event management is a nice to have
• Strong strategic thinker, able to balance short-term needs with longer-term vision
• A self starter with a balance strategic thinking with practical execution
• Strong project management skills
• Strong collaborator and ability to partner effectively
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives
• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience

Pay Ranges
Vancouver, Canada: $121,000 - $169,000 CAD
