What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health
 

Product and Solutions Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market research and customer insight initiatives to inform strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for assigned product lines or customer segments
  • Translate strategy into actionable downstream plans across the organization, ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Collaborate with external agencies to deliver high-impact product portfolios and messaging
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the category management, marketing, sourcing, and quality teams. Equipping teams with tools, training, and processes that drive results
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader business goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience and private label experience, preferred
  • Proven track record leading strategic initiatives and managing complex projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations and navigating cross-functional dynamics

  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines

  • Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers

  • Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels

  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 – $103,950
