What you can expect

As a Manager on the Product & Marketing Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across PGIM’s investment capabilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Planning & Analysis, you will drive financial clarity, partner with senior leaders to align financial outcomes with business strategy and help operationalize new processes. The position also involves close collaboration with our distribution and investment finance teams. This role is based in Newark, New Jersey, where the team follows a hybrid schedule, working on-site three days per week.

Please note: As this team is newly established, specific responsibilities may evolve over time. We are seeking candidates who are adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic and fluid environment as we build and refine processes to support strategic initiatives.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you will do

  • Lead forecasting and performance reporting for Product & Marketing departments.

  • Support seed capital oversight, including usage, performance, hedging, and reporting.

  • Drive product profitability analysis and pricing support.

  • Manage headcount and compensation planning.

  • Develop dashboards and presentations for executive stakeholders and committees.

  • Collaborate with Product Strategy, Development, and Pricing teams to support investment capabilities.

  • Contribute to the centralized product prioritization and approval process.

  • Participate in various analysis and special projects.

  • Monitor data integrity.

  • Build strong relationships with business and finance partners.

  • Manage expectations of key constituents through frequent and prompt communication regarding status of deliverables.

  • Manage and implement strategic initiatives that drive efficiency across the team.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Proven ability to communicate insights through executive-ready presentations.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on process improvement and automation.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills.

  • High learning agility and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.

  • Experience with Power BI, Anaplan (or similar software), data visualization.
