Job Description:
Position Summary:
Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Accounts for all materials and supplies; audits goods received into warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

Role Objective:
The Lead – Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Security & Engineering will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading countrywide programs on workplace safety, physical security, maintenance & engineering and ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) initiatives. The role requires strategic leadership to align with global policies, while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, TAPA standards, and embedding a culture of safety, sustainability, and ethical governance across Warehouse and Office in India
Deliverables Overview
Below brief overview deliverables:
Safety and Health:
Lead and manage the country’s Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) programs, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and compliance with statutory requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits to proactively address hazards and prevent accidents.
Drive a culture of 'Zero Harm' by engaging employees, contractors, and partners in safety initiatives.
Develop and deliver training programs for safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and crisis response.
Oversee compliance and other relevant OHS standards, as applicable.
Security:
Oversee physical security operations across offices, warehouses, and logistics facilities.
Ensure compliance with TAPA FSR (Facility Security Requirements) standards, leading audits, certifications, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Implement and maintain access control systems, CCTV surveillance, perimeter security, and visitor management protocols.
Partner with law enforcement, security agencies, and vendors to ensure asset protection and risk mitigation.
Lead crisis management and business continuity planning (BCP) for security-related incidents.
Drive continuous improvement in security risk assessments, controls, and preventive actions.
ESG:
Develop, implement, and track country-level ESG strategies, aligned with corporate sustainability goals and global ESG reporting standards.
Lead initiatives in carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and waste management.
Drive social responsibility programs in alignment with local community needs and company CSR commitments.
Monitor and report ESG performance metrics, ensuring alignment with GRI, SASB, CDP, and other international standards.
Promote ethical business practices and governance frameworks in line with local laws and global compliance requirements.
Engineering:
Lead technical assessment of new Warehouse Layout and Design from Safety, Security, Maintenance and Compliance point of view.
Develop, implement, and track country-level site maintenance strategies, aligned with corporate goals and global standards.
Review OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for MHEs, AMC schedules for key machines and structures, energy efficiency of equipment etc.
Knowledge Management (KM) - Creation of central repository of data base for team to refer
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the single point of contact for all Safety, Security, and ESG-related matters at the country level.
Provide executive updates and reports to country leadership and global HSE & ESG teams.
Engage with regulatory bodies, TAPA auditors, industry associations, and external stakeholders to ensure best practices and compliance.
Lead cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants in driving safety, security, and ESG initiatives.
Influence and inspire employees to embed safety-first, security-conscious, and sustainability-focused mindsets into daily operations

Education s Competencies
Below requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Environment / Safety / Occupational Health / Business Management Certification program (Full Time) in “Data Analyst” would be advantage
Postgraduate / professional certifications preferred
Technical Competencies:
Must Have:
Demonstrated expertise in multi-site operations management (warehouses, logistics, or manufacturing
ERP understanding C Cost Saving mindset
Good to Have – Certification from TAPA, CT-PAT, ESG Certification
Nice to Have – NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor, TAPA FSR Certified)
Behavioral Competencies:

Experience in managing physical security systems and TAPA compliance.

Experience:
6–10 years of progressive experience in Safety, Physical Security, HSE, Sustainability, or ESG functions, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or country-level role
