Brown & Brown is Seeking a Manager of Client Engagement to join our growing team in Southborough, MA.

The Manager of Client Engagement will provide expert consulting services across all aspects of pharmacy benefits for our National Pharmacy Team. This role will be dedicated to Brown & Brown’s Southborough, MA office supporting large-market employer clients. This client-facing role will support clients and internal pharmacy subject matter experts (SMEs). Responsibilities include day-to-day client service, project management, supporting vendor evaluations, and financial analysis. 

How You Will Contribute

  • Develop client presentations in collaboration with the pharmacy team and health and welfare consulting teams to deliver tactical and strategic recommendations. 
  • Analyze pharmacy benefit utilization and trends using PharmaLogic and other analytic tools. 
  • Support the development of intellectual capital for Brown & Brown. 
  • Delivering intellectual capital to clients and internal teammates.
  • Support PBM implementations and benefit changes. 
  • Lead issue escalation and resolution for pharmacy-related concerns. 
  • Providing project management support to clients and internal teammates.
  • Lead RFP, procurement, and renewal processes. 
  • Develop financial projections based on PBM contract terms.
  • Assist with PBM contract reviews and negotiations. 
  • Collaborate with clinicians, analysts, actuaries, and other specialists. 
  • Provide technical expertise to health & welfare consulting teams. 
  • Use proprietary tools and Excel to analyze pharmacy spend and cost drivers. 
  • Assist in developing methodologies and outcome assessments. 
  • Ensure accurate onboarding and configuration within pharmacy analytics systems. 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in pharmacy benefit/healthcare consulting or pharmacy benefit management. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Expected to be local to Southborough, MA to support in-office collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%. 
  • Experience in pharmacy clinical strategy development. (preferred)
  • Familiarity with both pharmacy and medical data. (preferred)
  • Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence tools. (preferred)

Pay Range

$125,000 - $200,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
