Sentara Medical Group is currently hiring a full-time Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services-Ambulatory in South Boston, Virginia.
Work Shift: First Days
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8-5 pm; will require flexibility to accommodate community service events that may fall on nights or weekends.
Location: On-site which will require travel with mobile clinic locations (Mobile RV clinic (touchdown space within Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital)
Overview
Provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management. Ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice and competency of clinical and non-clinical staff. Accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to adapt leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.
