Purpose of the role

Join our dynamic team as a key leader, reporting directly to the Director of Operations/IPT Lead Steriles. You'll oversee a talented group of 16 professionals, including 4 Asset Managers, 3 Process and Automation Engineers, and a Technical Lead with 8 skilled Technicians. Your role will be pivotal in driving capital investment for new production initiatives, maintaining existing production assets, and optimizing operational performance.

At Organon Oss, the Integrated Process Team (IPT) Steriles is at the forefront of manufacturing and packaging sterile injectables, catering to multiple international markets. As a key player in pharmaceutical production, our facility adheres to rigorous GMP standards, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as aseptic filling lines, advanced water systems, pristine clean rooms, automated visual inspection, and both semi-automated and automated packaging solutions.

Our dedicated IPT is composed of approximately 140 skilled professionals, encompassing operations, continuous improvement, maintenance and reliability, process automation, quality assurance, EHS compliance, and technical support for the shop floor. And implement This dynamic team ensures the highest standards of excellence, driving innovation and efficiency in every aspect of our sterile injectables production. Main responsibilities

  • Define  and implement Maintenance and Reliability Policy for the IPT.
  • Align with other Maintenance & Reliability Managers on reliability strategy and align with relevant stakeholders.
  • Formulate and implement change proposals according to change control procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical business-related needs within the IPT and translate into the technical IPT portfolio.
  • Responsible for the maintenance budget and execution within the IPT
  • Formulate maintenance plans and spare part strategies for all assets, work according to risk-based approach.
  • Manage the Project Portfolio and formulate proposals / business cases for technical improvement projects including deliverables and planning for the development and implementation of proposed projects.
  • Linking pin between large investment projects and the IPT
  • Initiate, steer and /or participate in projects in line with the defined project execution plans.
  • Ensure optimal reliability (uptime) of all assets within the IPT during the entire life cycle and define the associated spare parts strategy.
  • Manage the team to ensure safe and compliant maintenance of all assets within the IPT.
  • Develop your team and create ownership with everyone in your team.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology or engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in maintenance, engineering, and project management, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Background in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals, food, or a comparable sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent prioritization abilities and decision-making skills under time pressure.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and customer focus.
  • Innovative mindset with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
