As Skillsoft accelerates growth across Asia Pacific and Japan, we’re hiring a hands-on Field Marketing Manager based in India to lead our India and broader APJ field marketing efforts. This is a player-coach role: you’ll serve as the voice of the India field to global marketing and execute high-impact campaigns while managing and mentoring 1–2 regional marketers. You’ll translate global strategy into localized execution, drive pipeline growth, and ensure Skillsoft’s brand resonates across diverse APJ markets.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership: Own the India/APJ field marketing strategy and execution, aligning closely with regional sales leadership.
Team Management: Lead and develop a small team of field marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
Campaign Execution: Deliver integrated campaigns (events, webinars, ABM, digital) tailored to India and APJ market needs.
Sales Enablement: Equip sales with localized content, tools, and programs that drive engagement and conversion.
Event Strategy: Lead execution of regional events, including customer summits, partner forums, and industry conferences.
Performance Analytics: Monitor KPIs, optimize campaigns, and report impact to regional and global stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with global marketing, product, and content teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
Qualifications
6+ years in B2B marketing, with 3+ years in field/regional marketing and 1+ year of people management.
Strong understanding of India and APJ market dynamics, buyer behaviors, and cultural nuances.
Proven ability to lead and inspire small teams while executing hands-on.
Experience with marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Willingness to travel across India and APJ (~25%).
SaaS or enterprise tech background preferred.
ABM and digital campaign experience required.
