Manager I - Drone Operations at Blattner Company

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Serves as the designated authority for UAS operations within Blattner.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) operations at Blattner.
Ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across all UAS missions.
Company-wide resource for all things UAS related to including future advancements, CapEx budgeting, regulatory and compliance changes, UAS subject matter expert (SME), and a liaison between our organization and Quanta on the matter.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in Equipment Services Management, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
5 or more years of certified UAS pilot experience, ideally within the construction industry. Proven ability to manage flight planning, scheduling, compliance, and execution of missions. Hands-on experience with UAS/UAV technology, aerial surveying techniques, and data analysis.
Ability to travel 75% of the time.
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

Experience as a Chief UAS Pilot or in a similar leadership role.
Knowledge of utility infrastructure inspection, LiDAR, thermography, or rope pull operations.
Very strong collaboration skills. Able to work and lead cross functionally as part of a matrix team.

$98,589.00 - $142,955.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
