Who You Are

As part of the People Ops team, the Manager, Global Immigration & Mobility will serve as the in-house expert for immigration and mobility programs. You'll advise internal teams and employees on all aspects of immigration strategy, work authorization, visa sponsorship, and mobility practices. While the bulk of your focus will be on the U.S., this role will also support global mobility as our business expands. This role is critical to ensuring a compliant, seamless, and human-centered experience for candidates and employees navigating immigration processes.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on U.S. immigration, work authorization, and visa sponsorship, advising on cases from initial evaluation to final resolution.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, Legal, and Total Rewards to assess and recommend immigration strategies that align with business goals.
  • Manage casework and oversee end-to-end processes for H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, and other visa types, as well as green card sponsorship.
  • Build scalable, compliant immigration practices and documentation to support employees and hiring managers.
  • Advise and partner with People and Legal teams on global mobility topics as they arise, including international relocations, short-term assignments, and global work compliance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, proactively update internal stakeholders with timely, clear guidance, and ensure compliance.
  • Drive education and enablement for HR business partners, managers, and impacted employees.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Design and refine internal mobility and immigration policies and resources for the broader organization.
  • Perform other related duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs
  • You will own, track, and oversee the work authorization processes

  • Manages complexity – You can manage multiple case types and situations at once, always prioritizing the employee experience and legal soundness.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in employment-based immigration, including U.S. visa types and green card processes; global mobility experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration regulations, employment authorization, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing case workflows and working with immigration counsel.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and build trust with diverse business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
