The Role

As the Manager, FP&A, you play a key role in guiding Bloomerang’s financial performance by leading the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, while also managing and developing a small team of analysts. You’ll act as a hands-on player/coach—driving analysis, building models, and partnering with business leaders to deliver insights that shape strategic and operational decisions.

 

What You Will Do

  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of financial analysts. Set clear goals, review deliverables, and foster professional growth and analytical rigor.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring timelines are met and assumptions are grounded in data and business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional partners to understand key drivers, model business scenarios, and guide resource allocation decisions.
  • Deliver clear, timely, and actionable monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership, translating financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • Build, refine, and maintain financial models that evaluate revenue performance, customer acquisition costs, retention trends, and overall company metrics.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and help drive accountability across the organization through consistent reporting and variance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes. Partner with Finance and Systems teams to improve data accuracy and scalability.
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial closes, consistent reporting, and alignment between actuals and forecasts.  

 

What You Need to Succeed

  • A proactive approach and always looking for ways to improve processes, identify opportunities, and drive results.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and can balance competing priorities with ease.
  • Advanced experience with various financial planning software.
  • Strong communication skills, and to be able to  translate complex data into business insights.  
  • Ability to actively explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily tasks to drive efficiency and support Bloomerang's mission.

Compensation 
The salary range for this position is $97,500 - $146,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws

Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
