KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Effectively manages team members in a manner consistent with ThedaCare policies and values. Ensures the recruitment and retention of competent team members to meet the needs of the business operations of the department.
Is accountable for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes.
Oversees and ensures accuracy of time and attendance and payroll practices.
Is accountable for the day-to-day operations of durable medical equipment operations and intake through implementation of department strategy, policy, direction, and action plans including retail locations, consignment, distribution, biomed, purchasing/supply chain, and intake.
Is accountable for implementation and administration of policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, accrediting requirements, and quality/performance improvement plans to ensure compliance.
Manages the product line development, retail store design, retail training, and product promotion/marketing.
Manages the supply chain including inventory, expense management, procurement of product, pricing, physical inventory, distribution process, equipment management, and the management of company-owned fleet vehicles for durable medical equipment and respiratory operations.
Is accountable for manufacturer and distributor (vendor) pricing contracts to ensure compliance and best pricing.
Works closely with marketing to plan, develop, and implement durable medical equipment business growth.
Understands competitors’ market share, products, and pricing to maintain good durable medical equipment business strategies.
Ensures the durable medical equipment computer software is compatible to meet the needs of operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree
Five years of progressive responsibility in home medical equipment business
Three years of leadership experience to include leading teams and/or projects
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Climate controlled office setting with daily movement throughout the facility
Interaction with department members and other healthcare providers
