The Client and Colleague Enablement team in TD Wealth National Office includes a broad range of functions that provide support across TD Wealth including Direct Investing, Private Wealth Management, Financial Planning and TD Asset Management. Our functions include productivity, client experience programs, change management, communications, colleague experience, and real estate strategy. Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Communications TD Wealth, the role of Manager, Communications supports and leads the delivery and execution of strategic pan-Wealth initiatives and programs.
This position is ideally suited for an individual who is a self-starter with exceptional writing and relationship management skills, business acumen, effective time management skills and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
The key accountabilities for this position will include:
Manage the development and execution of communications strategies for projects and initiatives, from needs assessment, planning, content development to distribution
Provide communications guidance to the Wealth executive team and subject matter experts from a variety of functional areas
Create executive content and messaging in the appropriate voice and tone that aligns to strategic initiatives
Champion communications best practices and advocate for an exceptional colleague and client experience
Manage ongoing relationships with enterprise partners to ensure coordination of communication activities, as required
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communications and make recommendations that enhance the Wealth colleague and client experience
Develop and execute business communications strategies, and act as the primary lead for all tactics/deliverables related to the strategy, and ad hoc requests
Act as the strategic communications partner lead with project teams, owning the planning and tactical execution, providing strategic counsel and advice and regularly advising partners of status
Create high-impact communications that leverage TD's corporate standards and best practices and use a variety of tactics and mediums (written, intranet, video, virtual and face-to-face), ensuring consistent messaging
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary/university degree in a business-related discipline, in addition to a minimum of seven years of related communications experience, preferably in the wealth industry
Ability to produce professional messages that are tailored to audience needs and support the overall success of the business
Exceptional writing, editing, proofing and presentation skills, with an ability to summarize details quickly and leverage the power of words in a variety of media
Strong attention to detail and ability to convey a tone, voice and style that reflects and reinforces the Wealth brand
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take on complex initiatives and multi-task, managing multiple timelines, stakeholders, and relationships
Confident in your ability to deliver results within challenging timelines
Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing and ambiguous initiatives or requirements
Solid knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio)
Experience:
Undergraduate degree
7+ years relevant experience
Bilingualism in French and English an asset
