The Manager, Communication and Design Projects plays a strategic role by leading the global design and project management team to ensure brand consistency and excellence for Agropur. This individual will be responsible for creative direction, overseeing corporate projects (annual report, ESG report, website, etc.), and establishing a design center of expertise. The position aims to contribute to ambitious initiatives, stay on top of design trends, and deploy innovative digital strategies across communication and marketing platforms to shape the future of the brand.

  • Salary range 006: 95 900$ to 119 900$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

 

What this role entails:

  • Lead the design of corporate, communications, or creative projects on a global scale.

  • Manage the design and project management team’s projects, including task delegation.

  • Ensure quality control for all projects under their supervision.

  • Develop and maintain governance of communication tools within the broader communications team.

  • Manage the communications team’s project management system.

  • Ensure compliance with brand identity standards and enhance the brand usage guide.

  • Manage and distribute digital content.

  • Manage trademarked brand assets and the company’s URLs.

  • Manage suppliers in creative and digital fields.

  • Maintain and continuously update the existing creative library for all communication products.

  • Maximize the effectiveness of digital strategies in collaboration with internal partners.

  • Manage corporate communication projects, including the annual report and ESG report.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to create content tailored to various channels.

  • Advise internal teams with strategic recommendations on digital and design matters.

  • Execute digital projects such as website redesigns, from conceptualization to implementation.

  • Guide and coach team members, ensuring their professional development and succession planning.

  • Integrate AI tools to optimize graphic creation and explore innovative solutions to enhance deliverables.

  • Conduct strategic monitoring of technological tools and best practices in design, communication, and digital, to recommend relevant solutions for all products under their responsibility.

 

What you need to join our team:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, graphic design, marketing, or communications.

  • Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in a creative and digital project management role.

  • Experience in leadership and team management.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital communication.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and foster a positive and engaging work environment.

  • Strategic leadership, team spirit, and ability to manage change.

  • Autonomy, organizational skills, and adaptability to a transforming organization.

  • Advanced analytical skills, critical judgment, and strategic thinking.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of SharePoint.

  • Knowledge or experience with artificial intelligence tools applied to graphic design (e.g., image generation, task automation, assisted design tools).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) is an asset.
