Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst – Technology

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Technology team. This role will focus on managing and optimising cost-related activities including purchase orders, headcount, and project budgets, while also delivering insightful reporting and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management
- Monitor and manage purchase orders requests ensuring there is sufficient budget against project forecast to cover the spend and liasing with requestors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Track and analyse headcount data, supporting workforce planning, req approvals and cost control initiatives.
- Oversee project budgets by collaborating with project managers and finance teams to forecast, track, and report on expenditures and variances within the Planview tool.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and provide recommendations to optimise resource allocation and spending.
- Work closely with Project Managers, portfolio Managers, Finance and PMO services team to provide support and reporting
Reporting and Data Analysis
- Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into key performance indicators related to technology projects and operations.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform business and technology strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable intelligence that supports business objectives.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating data sources and performing regular audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or financial analysis within a technology environment.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles, including purchase order processing, headcount tracking, and budget management.
- Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, ),Python, and Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
