$105,145 - $142,255

Proven leader with underwriting expertise needed
Lead a regional underwriting team specializing in ag production lending. You’ll manage and coach a team of underwriters and partner with sales staff in preparing files for approval, ensuring consistency in approach and risk mitigation.

What you’ll do:

  • Review your team members’ narrative underwriting for ag production proposals prior to Credit Risk submission to ensure narratives are succinct and complete
  • Provide sound advice, detailed feedback and intensive coaching to underwriters
  • Serve as a primary communication channel between Credit Risk and sales staff for all credit applications that run through the regional team

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven leader with an established track record of collaborating with internal and external partners
  • A highly professional approach to business and partner relationships
  • Strong communicator who can explain complex information and share knowledge to diverse audiences
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate complex lending situations

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Expertise in analyzing ag production lending opportunities, and applying advanced credit analysis and risk mitigation strategies to lending situations
  • Proven experience in underwriting credit applications
  • Ag Production lending experience is considered an asset
