We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our Shared Services accounting operations team! The ideal candidate is someone who can roll up their sleeves, dig into the details, and lead by example. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the monthly close process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and providing suggestions for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for select enterprise entities, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Lead financial review conference calls and respond to ad hoc requests with agility and professionalism.
  • Perform and oversee monthly account reconciliations, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve variances and discrepancies with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and excellence.
  • Drive process improvements and implement both best practices and automation across accounting operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of professional services experience (public accounting or advisory firm) or directly relevant accounting experience with a publicly held/Fortune 500 organization. 
  • Experience with NetSuite (prior implementation, integration, upgrade, data conversions, reporting, customizations to NetSuite applications is strongly preferred).
  • Experience with Blackline (prior implementation experience strongly preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience managing onshore and offshore accounting teams and leading process improvements.
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting.
  • CPA certification.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Finance transformation experience, including working with tools and processes associated with optimizing month end close, chart of accounts redesign, close and consolidation, FP&A, order to cash, procure to pay, or treasury management.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting/audit practices, procedures and reporting standards. 
  • Previous experience leading and executing complex projects in a challenging environment.

With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between the range below. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
