Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2505000 and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 114 (Smoky Mountain Chapter). This is a Dual-Bid with AGR announcement A25-092. Only 1 selection will be made.

Major Duties:

  • As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-10 (TITLE 32) you will, retrieve and analyze maintenance data, present results to management. Control, manage and maintain the Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS). Conduct Special Studies to assess Health of the Unit Readiness (HUR). Analyze performance data to determine manpower, equipment, and facilities maintenance capabilities. Perform other duties as assigned. NOTE: This PD is currently under revision to align with 2R2XX duties to include both Analysis and PS&D.

Qualifications: Military Grades: E-4 THROUGH E-6 Compatibility: AFSC - 2R271 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques; experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year at the next lower GS lever or 24 months experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management; experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
