Maintenance Technician

Shift: 1st
Pay Range: $34/hour to $36/hour

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support production by maintaining, repairing, and upgrading machinery to keep operations running smoothly. You will also help improve processes and equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery (e.g., roll formers, stamping equipment).

  • Ensure machinery operates efficiently to meet production goals and minimize scrap.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs.

  • Work with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (up to V), and power transmission components.

  • Set up and operate maintenance equipment such as welders, torches, drills, and cranes.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and plans for machinery installation, modification, and repair.

  • Identify and recommend improvements to machinery performance and production processes.

  • Participate in engineering projects and collaborate on technical problem‑solving.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including OSHA requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area using S and other best practices.

  • Work closely with production, engineering, toolroom, and other departments to address maintenance needs.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth, reliable operations.

  • Assist with facilities maintenance as needed (e.g., HVAC, mechanical systems).

  • Complete maintenance records, work orders, and related data entry accurately and on time.

  • Be available to work overtime or adjusted hours as business needs require.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of machinery maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production equipment.

  • Able to work independently and effectively manage responsibilities across a full shift.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and experience driving corrective actions.

  • Basic math and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.

  • Certification as a Maintenance Technician or related field preferred.
