Job Description Summary

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to help maintain and repair our facilities. This position includes performing routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment, as well as handling general repairs. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with maintenance tasks, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and off-hour emergencies on a rotating on-call basis.
  • Operate and monitor building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and respond to alarms.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with OSHA safety policies and site procedures.
  • Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance with company standards and GMP requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for repairs and projects as needed.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and system diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) and CMMS.
  • Knowledge of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • OSHA safety training.
  • Experience in GMP or regulated environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $45.94 - $54.05
