What this job involves:

This position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial building and distribution center equipment . The role encompasses wide-ranging responsibilities including low/medium voltage power, plumbing, HVAC systems and controls, mechanical system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, general maintenance, carpentry, and vendor management. You will provide essential electrical and mechanical support for RTUs (up to 20 ton), lighting systems and controls, BMS and other facility subsystems while maintaining a high percentage of "wrench time." This critical role contributes to JLL's business objectives by ensuring optimal facility operations and minimal downtime for our clients.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, HVAC, hot water systems, air conditioning equipment, and electrical systems while recording readings and making necessary adjustments

• Perform preventive maintenance on systems including tool mobilization, equipment setup, and proper documentation with minimal disruption to occupants

• Analyze system data with Chief Engineer to recommend maintenance changes, upgrades, and replacements

 • Diagnose and repair equipment with minimal use of third-party vendors, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions

• Maintain complete system documentation in central resource locations for all repairs and system changes

 • Support office furniture, machinery, and equipment moves as requested

• Respond to emergency calls and perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or state equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with mechanical systems

• Two years of related trade schooling or equivalent experience

 • Prior experience in industrial maintenance service technician role

 • Experience working with commercial and industrial equipment

 • Ability to work on building roofs and maintain clean, safe workspace

• Professional approach to equipment maintenance with strong safety practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Factory training and experience with distribution center equipment (Polychem/Greenbridge Strappers, Crown Lifts, Uni-lifts, Pallet Wrappers)

 • Experience with low/medium voltage power systems

• Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) and facility subsystems

 • Carpentry and plumbing system experience

 • Vendor management capabilities

• Ability to provide professional feedback on preventative maintenance procedures

Location: Onsite

Schedule:  Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5pm

Salary/Comp: 23-29$
