Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and systems issues.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including safety checks and repairs.
- Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Oversee the use of external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource use.
- Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents.
- Train and mentor maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards related to facility maintenance and safety.
