Mail Processing Clerk (On-Site)

Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting a Mail Processing Clerk to join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor.

Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Ensure daily operational workflow is met by moving the mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks.  Reports to supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Sleeves and bundles trays, according to USPS and company standards, places them on pallets and shrink-wraps loads. Drives a pallet jack to move pallets and load into the trucks.

• Ability to follow in-depth work instructions and keep work flowing at the optimal pace to match the conditions.

• Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job.  Completes all required

• documentation relevant to every job. May research and resolve problems resulting from diverted tray and may perform simple repairs on the ACL (e.g. clear jams).

• Follows all departmental and safety procedures.

• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation

• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.

• Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills

• Ability to adhere to all quality standards

• Ability to take direction and to work with a sense of urgency

• Computer skills a plus

• Ability to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shifts

• Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.

• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime

• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies

Hourly range $17.70- $18.70 USD. Bonus Eligible.

Shift:   LWN – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Alt Saturday  6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
