The position is responsible for the achievement of all APE, Total Manpower, Coded Agents, Average Active Agents and other sales quality targets of Luzon Sales Division. This refers to North Central and South Luzon.

This will include managing and leading the sales teams both current and incoming through working with the Leaders and Planners using coaching, influencing skills, training and demonstrating strong leadership.

Sales Management

  • Efficiently manage all relevant Agency KPIs to ensure consistent and sustained growth of Luzon and consequently of the entire Company
  • Support the Agency Transformation Project to achieve sales breakthroughs impacting Agency growth and expansion in the areas of Recruitment, Activation, Productivity and Leader Development
  • Monitor and report on performance against agreed sales targets at all levels (individual branches in all levels of hierarchy)
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of current market conditions both locally and nationally
  • Ensure that National Sales Head, Chief Agency Officer and other members of the Head Office teams are kept updated of all developments and issues

Relationship Management, Collaboration and Administration

  • Collaborate with HO based Champions to always ensure alignment of all initiatives and in all aspects of execution
  • Work closely with Agency Business Development in attracting and acquiring new productive teams via inorganic recruitment
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship Luzon Leaders and Planners
  • Ensure agency teams are advised of and follow all relevant policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of the business and compliance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Work closely with Head Office Agency support teams to ensure that good communications take place between the support teams and the salesforce

Education & Certification

  • College graduate with at least 5 years of sales and management experience in life insurance and/or financial services industry

Technical Competencies/Skills

  • In depth knowledge of sales practices and techniques, government regulations and codes related to life insurance industry
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of Agency field force management and the entire organization
  • Abilities in sales forecasting and market analysis
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of life insurance industry developments in Philippines
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly developed leadership, coaching and influencing skills
  • Organization and planning skills
